
To encourage international students to study in Australia, The University of Sydney has established Postgraduate Research Scholarships for the academic year 2022-2023. The purpose of these awards is to support candidates who wish to conduct a postgraduate research program in Carbontech at the university.

Eligibility
- Nationalities: All
- Postgraduate Research in Carbontech is an acceptable course or subject.
- For eligibility, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Studied abroad as an international student
- A full-time PhD program at the Faculty of Science or an unconditional offer of admission to the program
- You must be willing to research the general area of Carbontech
- A first-class or second-class upper-class honours degree in a related field or a master’s degree requiring substantial research
- I have experience in engineering, energy, and sustainability.

Benefits
An annual stipend of $28,597 will be provided by the University of Sydney in the amount of the minimum RTP rate (indexed annually on 1 January) for three years. Upon satisfactory academic performance, a six-month extension is possible. Moreover, the scholarship will cover up to twelve research periods, as well as academic course fees.
